For over 125 years the Sisters of the Little Company of Mary have been involved in a wide range of community works which currently involve community service, hospitals and aged care facilities. This has been in response to the needs of the community at a particular point in time and to 'be for others'.

Throughout our journey in life there will be times of struggle and times of great joy. Calvary John James supports the Canberra community in all of these events through emotional, spiritual and at times material contributions. Volunteers
Hospital volunteers play a vital role in the lives of our patients. We are constantly recruiting enthusiastic and committed individuals to join us as volunteers. The objective of our volunteer program is to provide a channel for the community to contribute and bring a personal touch and compassion to our patients. In doing so, we hope that our volunteers will find personal enrichment in learning and making new friends, while contributing your skills and time in helping patients on their road to recovery.
