CJJH Awarded Runners Up in Excellence of Employers of Apprentices / Trainees

Calvary John James Hospital was awarded Runners Up for Excellence of Employers of Australian Apprentices / Trainees. The awards recognise those employers who demonstrate commitment, innovation and outstanding achievement in the training of Australian Apprentices and Trainees.
The Hon Julia Gillard MP Minister for Education, Employment and Workplace Relations, presented the hospital with a framed Certificate of Recognition for being a Finalist in the Awards. The Awards were celebrated at Parliament House in the first week of September 2008.
In the last 12 months 50 employees have successfully completed a traineeship and are still currently working at the hospital.
